Series Review: K-ON!

I’ve been watching K-On! since episode one started airing. Been following it every week, and I have to say, it has been one of the more enjoyable anime of this season!
K-On! follows four high school girls who get together and form the “Light Music Club”, which isn’t light music at all, it’s actually a full band. Overall it’s almost like a “Slice of Life” anime, as it just follows their daily adventures, but throughout the school year they have a goal: to be able to perform live on stage at Budoukan.
Oh, Japan
it sure doesn’t take you long to pump out fanart! Wasn’t her design just leaked yesterday? Eh, whatever, she is cute. Her name is Kagamine Rin, apparently. Just reminds me of KAGAMIIINNN~

VOCALOID2 Hatsune Miku – you (HiguKai)

Over the past few weeks, VOCALOID2, a singing synthesizer, has become incredibly popular. Topping sales on Amazon Japan, with videos of popular songs popping up all over niconico and youtube. Even the main composer for ave;new used it to make a new version of their song, “True my heart”! I guess having a super moe voice and a super moe girl to go with it doesn’t hurt things, eh? › Continue reading
C72: Levo Lution’s “Tranquilize”

Levo Lution is probably one of the few artists who just keeps getting better and better with each album, without any amount of suckage in between. (The same cannot be said for Rilo Kiley) › Continue reading
C72: Blasterhead feat. Rita’s “into the sky”

C72: KEY Sounds Label’s – Little Busters! Soundtrack

While I have yet to finish Little Busters!, KEY’s newest game, from what I have played the music has been quite up to standard, being great competition for Kanon, Clannad and Air’s scores. And to think I didn’t even know it was coming out this Comiket! Way to miss the ball, self. › Continue reading
C72: UNIONEST.NET’s “Ri Aruka Kaden Tsa”

To be honest, I’ve never heard of UNIONEST.NET’s stuff until now. Their newest release, Ri Aruka Kaden Tsa, is a decent MELTY BLOOD Act Cadenza Ver.B arrange album. › Continue reading
C72: IOSYS’s “Touhou Suisui Suusuu”

Yet another great C72 music release. IOSYS really didn’t disappoint this year! In my opinon, Touhou Suisui Suusuu is a BIG improvement over Touhou Tsuki Tourou. › Continue reading
C72: Shoujo Byou’s “unify”

Shoujo Byou’s “unify”–an I’ve cover album–is totally awesome. They didn’t butcher classic I’ve songs, which is an automatic A+! › Continue reading
